Louis Law Group is hiring a remote Pre-Suit Legal Assistant based in Latin America to prepare our first-party property insurance and warranty cases for litigation. Before a case is filed, someone has to build it: the Notice of Intent, the DFS complaint, the mediation request, the documents, the depositions-before-the-deposition. That someone is you.
We run on AI and automation — every member of this team uses AI tools daily. We can train the Florida legal side. We cannot train curiosity or drive.
What You'll Actually Do
- Prepare pre-suit first-party property (FPP) and warranty cases so they are litigation-ready.
- File Notices of Intent to Initiate Litigation (NOIs) with the Florida Department of Financial Services.
- File DFS complaints and DFS mediation requests, and track them to resolution.
- Collect and organize case documents — policies, estimates, denial letters, photos, correspondence — and chase what's missing.
- Schedule pre-suit events: examinations under oath (EUOs), recorded statements, and property inspections.
- Keep our case management system accurate and current — every filing logged, every deadline real.
- Use our AI and automation tools daily to draft, review, and move cases faster.
What We Require
- Law firm experience — this is a must, any practice area counts.
- Professional English, written and spoken.
- Active, regular use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar) — this is how we work.
- Full-time availability on US Eastern Time business hours.
- Reliable computer and stable high-speed internet.
- Comfort with the pay range: $7–$10 USD per hour, based on experience.
Preferred — Not Required
- Experience with first-party property insurance or warranty (vehicle service contract) cases.
- Familiarity with Florida NOI and DFS complaint / mediation processes.
- A basic understanding of agentic AI — AI agents that carry out multi-step work.
- Spanish/English bilingual.
Compensation
$7–$10 USD per hour depending on experience. Full time, long term, fully remote.
