Erica Brown is a dedicated and highly organized legal professional who joined Louis Law Group in May 2025 as an SSDI paralegal. Bringing years of specialized experience in Social Security Disability Law—including SSDI and SSI matters—Erica has built a career on advocating for clients navigating the often complex and overwhelming process of securing their social security benefits. Known for her reliability, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail, she is committed to ensuring that each client receives the guidance and representation needed to move their case forward successfully.

Erica’s background includes extensive hands-on experience preparing and filing SSDI and SSI applications, appeals, and hearing requests. She assists clients from start to finish—helping them apply for disability or apply for SSI, gathering vital medical records, and preparing persuasive case files for hearings. She is skilled at drafting legal documents, conducting research on Social Security Administration (SSA) regulations, and communicating with clients to clarify deadlines, requirements, and next steps.

She is particularly adept at assisting clients who have experienced a denied claim. Erica understands how discouraging it can be to face a setback and takes pride in helping clients navigate the appeals process. She works to assemble strong evidentiary records, coordinate with medical providers, and prepare compelling arguments for Administrative Law Judges. Her experience liaising with SSA officials and navigating the Social Security online portal allows her to streamline the claims process, reduce delays, and ease stress for her clients.

Erica earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Franklin University and her Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Zane State College. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Business Psychology at Franklin University, with an expected graduation in September 2025. She also holds an Administrative Office Professional Certificate and is a commissioned Notary Public in the State of Ohio. Her academic and professional background provides her with both the legal knowledge and interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and government agencies.

Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time at the beach and playing basketball. These activities reflect her energetic and balanced approach to life, as well as her appreciation for teamwork and staying active.
