Cathleen Rodriguez, Esq.

Bio.

Cathleen Rodriguez is a Junior Partner at the firm where she concentrates her practice on first-party property insurance litigation. She zealously represents homeowners and businesses throughout Florida in complex insurance coverage disputes including breach of contract, declaratory relief, and bad faith claims disputes arising from hurricane, windstorm, and water damage losses.

Mrs. Rodriguez is known for her strategic advocacy and strong negotiation skills developed through years of handling high-volume litigation. She is actively involved in all stages of litigation from pre-suit evaluation to trial preparation and settlement.

Mrs. Rodriguez earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law where she was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Board and as Pro Bono Student Director focusing her time assisting immigrants obtain their U.S. Citizenship. Mrs. Rodriguez is also a recipient of the CALI Excellence Award given to the highest scoring student in a class. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University with minors in Psychology and Family & Child Sciences.

Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Rodriguez clerked for the Honorable Patrick A. White in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and served as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office advocating for domestic violence victims at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.

She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.

Fluent in Spanish, Mrs. Rodriguez is committed to providing compassionate, results-oriented representation to her clients. Outside the office, she enjoys boating, traveling, and staying active.
